Just wanted to say thanks to those of you who made it out last night to the SouthBay WordPress Meetup.  Always nice to see you as well as meeting the new members.  Pot luck was fun and plenty of food!

Just a quick recap for those who missed it:

• Did a general review update on the latest version of WordPress which came out 1 week ago. WordPress 3.8 aka “Parker”
• Discussed some of the changes to the Dashboard
• Showed the video that was produced.  [See video below]
• Discussed steps to take before upgrading! i.e. backup and / or test on non mission critical website.
• Also went on to discuss the state of web hosting companies, themes and stuff of the sort!
